Ukrainian Fashion Week FW17-18 campaign

I like when we can talk about important things without words. When all the arts are working for the benefit of mankind. Fashion as one of them is the tribune, and in 2016 it was extremely important and effective way to communicate and educate. Tolerance, equality, love, beauty in all its manifestations, the lack of standards and prejudices — this is what about the new advertising campaign of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW17-18. Despite the 20 year existence of the company, Ukrainian Fashion Week is bet on the young and progressive again. Record shooting time both on the Dnipro hills and in the studio (12 hours) and the team (8 models) has united not only the best of the Ukrainian fashion industry (like photographer Ksenia Kargina, designer, stylist and founder of the Luch Agency Anton Belinskiy, top model Alyona Osmanova), and Ukrainian designers, a symbol of unity of which became a special trench coat created from the scraps of fabrics with recognizable patterns and textures of their collections. The result of shooting is the 7 images that it is impossible to look away, and many reasons to think about inportant things.

Мне нравится, когда можно говорить о важном без слов. Когда на благо человечества работают все виды искусства. Мода, как один из них, это трибуна, и в 2016 году она была крайне важным способом коммуникации и образования. Толерантность, равенство, любовь, красота во всех ее проявлениях, отсутствие стандартов и предрассудков — именно об этом гласит новая рекламная кампания Ukrainian Fashion Week FW17-18. Несмотря на огромный багаж за спиной у организаторов, на 20 году существования компании ставка вновь делается на молодых и прогресивных. Рекордная по времени (12 часов) и команде (только моделей насчитали 8!) съемка на Днепровских кручах и в студии объединила не только лучших украинской индустрии моды (фотографа Ксения Каргину, дизайнера, стилиста и основателя агентства «Луч» Антона Белинского, топ-модель Алену Османову), а и украинских дизайнеров, символом единства которых стал особенный тренч, созданный из лоскутков тканей с узнаваемыми принтами и фактурами из их коллекций. Результат работы — 7 кадров, от которых невозможно оторвать взгляд, и множество причин подумать о глобальных вещах.
